Prosecutors claim the defendants prepared the murder of Vanja and Pance in advance

The trial for the murder of Vanja and Pance continues on May 21 after a evidence of evidence in the Skopje Basic Criminal Court ended today and has begun with an evidence. At today’s hearing, the Prosecutor’s Office was additional evidence, among which there was evidence of security camera footage at Velibor Manev, who, according to the prosecution, show that the defendants were preparing for murder in advance, not just for the kidnapping of Vanja Gjorcevska.

The footage shown in court is visible when Manev puts a shovel in the Renault Kangu vehicle.

– The footage of 24 November 2023 at 4:29 pm, but real time 3:29, shows defendant Bore Videvski in front of the defendant Manev’s house and waiting. Manev comes out and seen that « Renault Kangu » comes out of the yard of the house and enters Videvski and heads to Veles. This part of the footage was already performed and shown at the main hearing, and what was not performed is the following. After the vehicle went to Veles, the footage shows as a minute and something, at 3:32 pm it returns and stops in front of the yard. Defendant Manev goes out, heads to the yard, ie to the house and for a short time, at 3:34 he returns to the vehicle and holds the shovel in his right hand and inserts it into the vehicle. He sits in the driver’s seat and go to Veles. This is the date 24.11.2023, when the first attempt to abduct the child Vanja Gjorcevska – said the prosecutor.

In a statement to the media, prosecutor Ana Stojkovic clarified that the footage was made in response to the defendants’ claims in their statements that they had actually had no motive to kill, but went to kidnap people.

– But what they are further returning only to put the shovel and take it with them or have the same forgotten, indicates that precisely contrary to their statements, that they were already ready for murder. For this reason he was also performed as evidence. Not that we didn’t have it before. You know that evidence has previously been carried out that they are carrying shovels in their vehicle and returning, so they remove the shovel. However, this was aimed at refuting their so -called motive given in defense. It is absolutely not related to the blame that stands by the defendant Aleksandar Gjorcevski because he is not even accused of murder, but of helping to abduct the child – she said.

Asked if they are still looking for the gun, she responded that they have enough evidence that indicates the blame of all five defendants.

Regarding the mismatch of the bush, Stojkovic clarified that it is a standard procedure when the prosecutor’s office ordered to make an expert on a certain bush, that bush compared to the bushes in the MoI system, for the same thing to have the same criminal arms.

– Since this is a standard procedure in the forensic examination, that circumstance has not been stated because there has been no results that have been confirmed, that is, the bush in comparative analysis has shown that it has not coincided with any weapons performed during a criminal legal event with no weapons for which the MoI has data. It is a standard procedure and therefore the expertise is not indicated. But because the defendant Palevski insisted, manipulated the public and the court that such expertise had not deliberately done the prosecution in order to refute such allegations, he also addressed the Ministry of Interior to the two laboratories. What the whole public knows has confirmed that if there is no weapon so that it can be compared or if there is no weapons, we cannot connect it to the bush with the weapons of which it has fallen – the prosecutor said.

Asked if they still remain in the position that the motive is a usefulness, prosecutor Zaklina Trajkovska responded affirmatively.

– It is absolutely in this case. From the very beginning to the commission of the offenses, the defendants agreed together and corroded to take all actions in order to achieve their benefit. Vanja’s murder proves that everyone has taken the actions together, only for that reason – said Trajkovska.

The reason why no amount of money or something else was requested, as it added « was obviously in the context of the goal they wanted to achieve, not that there is no usefulness in this case. »

Earlier, the prosecution presented that the defendant Bore Videvski was not at his job on the day of the abduction and murder of Vanja and Pance, and there were no data available on a test fired on the weapons of the defendant.

In a statement to the media, Palevski and Videvski’s defenders demanded an expert examination of the found bush.

Lawyer Bojan Manev questioned the lack of traces of firing from Bore Videvski’s weapons at the MoI base, considering it contradictory. He claims to have a confirmation of the legality of the weapons, but without cracking records, which he calls a failure or deliberate neglect.

Lawyer Jovica Strashevski demands expertise on the bush found at the scene of Pance Zezhovski’s murder, criticizing the prosecution that did not investigate all regular guns. According to reports, the bush does not coincide with existing data, and although Videvski has legal weapons permission since 1998, there are no firing records.

At the beginning of today’s hearing, in the area of ​​evidence, Palevski presented official notes of video delivers from the cameras of Hotel Romantic, who, according to his explanation, confirm the participation of three people, not four in the abduction of Pance Zezhovski.

Lawyer Vladimir Tufegljic, the defense of the defendant Aleksandar Gjorcevski, announced an addition to the evidence in Alexander’s property and the procedure for denationalization for significant property in Kuchkovo.

The indictment states that Ljupco Palevski, Bore Videvski, Velibor Manev, Vlatko Kesishov and Aleksandar Gjorcevski, together planned the abduction of 14-year-old Vanja in order to force a member of her immediate family to give money for ransom. The abduction of the damaged Pance Zezhovski in Veles, on the indictment, was intended to force him to give their « Citroen » vehicle to use it to abduct the child in Skopje.

Juvenile Vanja and Pance resident were reported missing on November 27 and 24, and on December 3, 2023, dead were found near Skopje and Veles.
