A Higher Court in Novi Sad extends detention for 30 days for suspects in the investigation into the demolition of a Novi Sad train station on November 1, MIA’s correspondent in Belgrade said.

The house arrest of two suspects has also been extended.

At the end of last year, an indictment was filed against 13 people.
In addition to those ten, there are two suspects under house arrest, one of whom is the former acting acting. Former Construction Minister Goran Vesic defends his liberty, after a few days in custody, the court overturned his detention by accepting his lawyer’s appeal.

The two -month house arrest decision is made for three months.

The case is being charged with suspicion of a serious crime against general security in relation to the crime of causing public danger and suspicions of committing a serious crime against general security in connection with the crime of improper and improper construction.

16 people were killed and one person was seriously injured in the collapse of the Novi Sad train station on November 1.
