I do not intend to comment on their views because I am not an expert in this field. As a layman, however, I would point out the important detail that is present in the statements of experts in this article, as well as with all others who believe that the Gaza war is about genocide. But for unknown reasons, everyone avoids it.
No one who thinks that it is a genocide in Gaza says why it would be genocide. They cite the number of civilian casualties, especially children and women, to the ground demolished cities, obstruction of humanitarian aid. But this is not genocide, such scenes have seen history, but no one has genocide. In World War I, nearly two million Frenchmen were killed, mostly from Germans, but no one talks about genocide. The Germans intended to defeat the French state, not to exterminate the French. In defining the genocide, it is important. Genocide is any systematic destruction of any ethnic, ethnic, racial or religious group in order to completely or partially destroy this group.
It should not be difficult to prove that it is a genocide in Gaza. The Israel state is based on the idea of genocide, which has been in low intensity for a hundred years. The Zionist idea of the Jewish state in Palestine is an ethnically clear country. There are different ideas and conflicts about which dimensions and how to achieve this. In any case, the State Israel, no matter what political option is in power, has violently displace and prosecute the indigenous Arab population from the very beginning. It destroys their settlements and sets their own, village for the village, and at the same time renamed them Jewish names. Jews have Palestinians for inferior creatures, even called human animals. And they don’t hide it at all. This is a typical genocidal behavior, since the people you intend to destroy or drive should be dehumanized first. The Nazis had the Jews as inferior and compared them with rats, only then did the Holocaust begin. Obviously, the Zionists have now estimated that the conditions were created, both in international and domestic politicians, so that they can finally realize their idea.
The media, and especially social networks, are full of shots of removed and terrified children. They are supposed to wake up emotions that turn the public against Israel. But this is a political propaganda that abuses the suffering of children. Pictures of disregarded and happy adults would not have the same effect. That being said, the number of killed and massacres does not define genocide. Even as we can see, it has no effect on Israel’s behavior. In my opinion, the revolt should be based on the realization that Israel is implementing a Zionist plan that envisages the Israel state without Palestinians. Perhaps these dictions cannot be used by politicians, but politicalologists, sociologists, historians, activists for the rights of the Palestinians could be used.
