Professor against students: What can we expect from Dejan Vuk Stankovic as a Minister of Education? – Society

Branimir Jovančićević, professor at the Faculty of Chemistry and Vice President of the Democratic Party, says that Stankovic’s appointment is not a surprise, but the expected move.

« This is a list of candidates, in the hope that Vučić will bring wide support. He will probably fail to set him such an extreme candidate for the Minister of Education, » Jovančićević believes.

He adds that Stanković is expected to implement repressive measures in schools and colleges, but he believes that students will not remain silly on these moves.

He adds that he should not be afraid of Stankovic and that his influence in the academic community today is significantly weaker than before.

« They are aware that this government will be formed at all. Students will come out with specific political proposals that will be further shortened to fall by autumn, the question is whether they will have the will of the set measures, » Jovančićević concludes.

Professor of the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad and President of the Reversion Movement Janko Veselinović, for today, says Stanković is known as a regime analyst and faithful supporter of the current regime.

We remind, a proposal for the composition of the new Government of Serbia was submitted to the National Assembly, which will be professor Đuro Macut on whom he would be. According to the President of the Assembly, Ana Brnabić, the session on which the new government will be selected, was scheduled for tomorrow at 10 o’clock.
