Prison for Tirana Circulation Chief Rove Zeka
The Special Court imposes the security measure « Arrest in Prison » for the Tirana Circulation Chief, Rove Zeka and the Chief of Investigation of Accidents, Sokol Novaku. According to the prosecution, they were arrested after taking a bribe 2,000 euros a driver involved in a road accident in Tirana on April 16.

On April 16, 2025, a road accident occurred in the city of Tirana, where two vehicles collided with each other. As a result of the accident, the five people traveling to one of the vehicles were taken to hospital to receive medical assistance. While in the other vehicle was only the driver AV, the wife of the citizen EV, suspected of committing the offense of « active corruption of persons exercising public functions » (provided for in Article 244 of the Criminal Code).
Following the data and information provided by the Officers of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH), it resulted that the traffic police officers asked the family of the driver, the citizen AV, the payment of 2,000 euros for non -arrest.
The amount of money was required to be delivered within a short time and was provided by the person under investigation EV, with the help of other persons. This amount was handed over to one of the traffic police officers – a proven fact during the investigation.
The Order of Citizens’ Prohibition: ET, SN and RZ was executed by BKH, in cooperation with the Police Supervision Agency. During the checks performed on behalf of this criminal proceeding, the amounts of the material were seized; 2,500,000 ALL and 26 thousand euros.
