Prime Minister Plenkovic congratulated Kurban-Bajram

Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on Friday, on behalf of the Government and personally, a congratulations to the President of the Mesihat Islamic Religious Community in Croatia, Aziza Effendija Hasanovic and all citizens of Islamic religion on the occasion of the Kurban-Bajram holiday.

« On behalf of the Government and the personally mechanat of the Islamic Community and to all Muslim believers, I send sincere congratulations and most beautiful wishes on the occasion of Kurban-Bayram. Let this feast of the victim and the pilgrimage be your strength and inspiration to overcome the upcoming challenges and temptations, » the Prime Minister said.

He also emphasized that Kurban-Bajram is an opportunity to recall the importance of coexistence, mutual respect and acceptance, but also of traditionally good relations with the Islamic Community, which has a significant place in Croatian society. This great holiday also calls for fellowship, solidarity and compassion, especially with those in need, the Prime Minister said.
