Prilep hospital officials embezzled over 2.2 million denars – Performed money in their pocket
The Financial Police Office has filed criminal charges against I. M. and SJ in the capacity of officials at the PHI General Hospital with expanded jurisdiction « Borka Taleski » Prilep due to reasonable suspicion that they had committed the crime of embezzlement in the service.
– The first suspect, in the period from 01.08.2024 to 30.04.2025 and the second suspect, in the period from 01.08.2024 to 30.04.2025, in the capacity of officials at the PHI General Hospital with expanded jurisdiction « Borka Taleski » Prilep. The cashier, collected by patients on the basis of co -payments and private health services, for 2024 denars of 1,508,452 denars, for 2025 the amount of 760,865 denars, ie, in the total amount of MKD 2.269.317 – the Financial Police said.
The first defense illegally appropriated the amount of 1,991,240 denars, and the second suspect illegally appropriated the amount of 278,077 denars, thus damaging the Budget of the PHI General Hospital with expanded jurisdiction « Borka Taleski » for the same amount.
After the General Public Prosecutor’s Office Prilep, during the morning by officials of the Financial Police Directorate, one of the persons was secured and was brought before the Public Prosecutor for further action.
