President Tatar: What more is waiting for Hristodulidis to open a door in Akincilar – Cyprus Newspaper

President Ersin Tatar participated in the 19th “Previously in the Luricina Fair, organized by the Municipality of Değirmenlik-Akıncılar.

In his speech at the event, President Tatar congratulated those who contributed to the fairground for Cyprus culture and art.

Stating that the Akincilar Region is an important settlement, President Tatar said that he lived people from this region in many parts of the country and the world.

President Tatar stated that the Turkish Cypriot continues to struggle with his own culture, art and traditions and said that there were two separate peoples, states and democracy in Cyprus.

President Tatar explained that he has been fighting for a year for the opening of the border crossing in Akincilar and that he has made proposal to the relevant authorities and that goodwill was put forward for the transition of people.

In front of the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Greek administration leader Nikos Christodulidis suggested that he had made a proposal to Hristodulidis, but he still has not been able to get any more answers.

In the continuation of his speech, President Tatar added that the people of the region should show the necessary reaction in order to prevent Hristodulidis to block the freedom of travel.
