President Ersin Tatar, Nobel Prize -winning Turkish scientist Aziz Sancar had a video meeting with.
President Tatar stated that the TRNC was accepted as an observer member of the Organization of the Turkish States in the Constitutional name, but that the EU continued to put stones on our way with the guidance of the Greek Cypriot side of its member by violating its criteria for political interests.
The President pointed out that the Greek leadership, which is able to exercise the veto rights in all matters in the EU, continued to victimize the Turkish Cypriot with Greece and violate human rights.
“Our observer membership was unanimously accepted in Samarkand. However, the Turkish Cypriot people cannot be represented in Hungary. The reason for this is the pro -Greek Greek policy of the European Union. The European Union has lost its capacity to take any positive role in Cyprus with this line.
President Tatar also mentioned the representation of some TDT -member states opened or accredited in Southern Cyprus and said that this happened as a result of the pressure made by the EU.
“Despite all these injustices, we will continue on our way without any time. We will continue our work with all our strength to accept the two -state solution.
Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar shared the information that he would attend the meeting of the Turkish States Organization meeting in Budapest two weeks later with President Tatar and said he would forward the President’s message to the Turkish states at this meeting.
