President Tatar: Children with Down Syndrome are our children – Cyprus Newspaper

President Ersin Tatar adopted children with Down Syndrome on March 21st World Down Syndrome Day.

Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, Minister of Labor and Social Security, Alev Ecevit, Director of Social Services Department and children with Down syndrome.

Speaking in a speech, President Ersin Tatar emphasized that children with Down's syndrome are the children of the country and that the increasing opportunities of the TRNC state are appreciated to bring students to the society.

Tatar thanked teachers for their sacrifice for their sacrifice, expressing that it is everyone's duty to educate children and bring them to the society and that the only difference is a chromosome.

Emphasizing the importance of bringing students to the society, Tatar pointed out that the opportunities of the state will be increased as it becomes stronger, and that the developments in the medical world should be followed.

Tatar expressed that love is a completely different feeling and that they are seen in the studies and congratulated the employees of the state for their protection.

Labor and Social Security Minister Sadık Gardiyanoğlu thanked President Ersin Tatar who accepted them on March 21, World Down Syndrome Day.

Famagusta Irfan Nadir and Guneskoy Rehabilitation Center with people with Down syndrome expressed that they made a visit to Gardiyanoglu, said that they have made very serious breakthroughs in terms of social services since the day he took office.

Gardiyanoglu, the existing centers on the island by making the renovation of the existing buildings, they continue to modernize.

Gardiyanoğlu pointed out that the facilities are close to European standards in terms of both education and infrastructure, and said that they also made arrangements in the curriculum.

After the speeches, Emine Hacıoğulları with Down's syndrome presented the letter to President Ersin Tatar.

İrfan Nadir Esra Tülek, a student of disabled rehabilitation center over the age of 18, also read the letter.

Let me briefly tell you about myself. Actually, we're no different. The only difference is in our chromosome number. You are 46, and I am 47 chromosomes. So I'm more than +1. I also dream; just like you.

But it is in your hands that I can realize my dreams. Happiness grows as you share! I dream of a country where my private friends like me, my brothers, sisters and families that give us unconditional care will be more easily. I dream of working in a cafe outside the school, in a patisserie or anywhere.

Are these big dreams? Is it too hard to happen? March 21, World Down Syndrome Awareness Day, I wish you would notice my dreams! I hope your every day will pass with pleasure like mine, like me, clinging to life, enthusiastic full of love full of love from me. «
