“Greek leader Nikos Hristodulidis and the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Church Georgios on the occasion of Easter, the statements of any dialogue that can be established on the basis of mutual understanding in Cyprus.

Mr. Hristodulidis’s irreparable statements such as the “strategy of demolishing the occupation wall” are not a call for a solution, but a discourse that tries to curtain the crimes they committed against our people and the desires of hegemony. The “two -regional, two -communal federation” model, in which the Greek leader constantly emphasizes from where it was continuing, is now exhausted. This fact is accepted not only by us, but also by all circles that evaluate past processes objectively.

The explanations of the Archbishop are not only distorting the history; It contains a clear language of hatred that is directed to our people under religious guise. The fact that a party that claims to live together in Cyprus is targeting our people with expressions such as “cruel Turks” and “expulsion of the Turks” reveals the grave level of hatred and discrimination. These explanations are not only us; It should also disturb the common sense of the Greek people.

Despite all the difficulties, the Turkish Cypriot people have not given up their search for reconciliation over the years. However, no one should expect us to compromise us, from our own state, sovereignty and dignity.

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is a legitimate and permanent state established with the free will of our people. The existence of this state and the will of our people cannot be made.

Today, I express it here once again:

A fair, realistic and lasting solution; However, it is possible with a model based on the cooperation of the two states on the basis of sovereign equality and equal international status.

Every attitude that ignores this fact serves a dead end, not a solution.
The search for domination of the Greek leadership has now been revealed and the Turkish Cypriot people reject this loudly.

It is expected that the international community will take notes of aggressive and exclusionary mentality that is clearly seen in these statements, seriously evaluate the vision of the Turkish Cypriot side of consensus, and permanent stability in the region.

And I want to address the silent ones who prefer to remain silent, especially in such periods:
These explanations are threats to our existence, not only our rights, but to our existence. It seems that the rhetoric of the past is brought up in new forms, and the existence and equality of our people under the name of “solution” are wanted to be ignored. Reading the history correctly begins with the responsibility to speak today.
