Two are the things that caught my attention. The first looks at the president’s message to the country. He was not a profession of faith, no commitment, no country project.

The first speech of the new president of Romania sounded as a list of needs of Romania. I reproduce some of the president’s list. It can be considered almost identical or close to what the entire population of Romania is waiting. I couldn’t even challenge one.

From more detailed discussions with a mechanic, a teacher, a policeman or a farmer would result in about the same things.

The new president presented a list of the main needs of the country. Only solutions could differ. From the president’s speech I did not retain any. Only the pressing priority of the reduction of the deficit (*as it has mentioned it several times is super-stress, not to say ultra dangerous in relation to the cessation of payments).

I reproduce a few, as they were formulated by the Parliament Tribune:

« As for the economy, we need to stop the great tax evasion, reduce and streamline the state expenses, ensure a professional governance and management in state companies, to have a well-defined strategy of economic development, to stimulate the agro-industrial and processing capacities, to optimize the agricultural production, We simplify access to European funds and, most importantly, to ensure a favorable framework for investors.
Regarding the health system, it is necessary to digitize the entire system, a balancing between primary and ambulatory medicine and the hospital system, an investment strategy in the infrastructure in the sanitary system, an extension of the network for treating addictions and a stimulation of professionals who choose to profess in rural areas.

Regarding education, we need to financially stimulate teaching staff, it is necessary to stimulate critical thinking in the entire educational system, we need to correlate education with the labor market, we need to invest in early education, that is, nurseries and kindergartens, and it is essential to prevent school dropout.

Regarding justice, it is necessary for the prosecutor’s offices to focus on the big corruption areas of the society, a reform of a fundamental institution is needed, the Judicial Inspection, we need to reduce the time to solve the files through administrative and sometimes legislative measures, we need to redefine the promotion procedures of the magistrates and we need to reflect on the law.

Regarding the environment, it is necessary to reform the authorization and control institutions, the extension of the activity of the Environmental Guard, a reform to Romsilva, a concern about urban development, which affects the future of our localities, and a stimulation of efficient waste management.

Regarding the cultural area, a national program of access to culture and education through culture is needed, it is necessary to support contemporary culture and dialogue with the administration, to promote contemporary Romanian culture, as a prestigious resource in an international level, and to enhance the national heritage again as a Romanian resource for Romania.

From the budget deficit to the support of the culture we have a long list of government priorities and none of the president.

This is a sign that Nicușor Dan wants to take control of the executive or one that he did not understand the mission of the President of Romania, as it is provided in the Constitution.

Or he simply wanted to convey that he knows well what are the immediate needs of the country and the Romanian people. And man saw what he chooses! From the sequences with questions and answers offered to the journalists I also detained the sentence:

-« You will receive the program I launched in the election campaign. »

I confess that I have not seen it yet. I do not know what it contains and the president Nicușor Dan did not tell us.

As for the way it was presented before and after the fetal, it must be said that I saw a relaxed, cheerful, smiling, even happy. After taking the oath, he was photographed with all the lovers of souvenirs, he made selfies with all kinds of parliamentarians, some with criminal files, with super-co-housed cousins, with his fingers opened in the sign of victory, he left to the neighbor from the photographs and at the end, on the halls of the parliament, or on the parliament, The national team after a match won through an autogole of opponents.
