President Begaj meetings with prominent figures of the Albanian community in Philadelphia
The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, who is on a visit to the United States of America, held a series of important meetings in the city of Philadelphia with prominent representatives of the Albanian community.
During his visit, President Begaj met with Genti Toshkezi, a renowned neurosurgeon and Honorary Consul of Albania in Philadelphia, praising him as a figure who honors the Albanian community with his professional achievements and dedication.
The head of state also had conversations with Doris Dobin, Mathematician and Vera Mucaj, a biology scientist, who discussed the importance of support for young Albanians pursuing a career in science and research.
President Begaj also had a meeting with writer Gaqo Bushaka, one of the most important voices of the Albanian community in this city, appreciating his contribution to the enrichment of Albanian culture and identity in the Diaspora.
These meetings are part of the president’s commitment to strengthen ties with the diaspora and promote its role in national development.
President Begaj is in the United States of America to attend the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Dayton.
