Presentation of the short film « Nikola Tesla – Man of the Future » – Culture

The event was designed and organized by Gordana Ristic in cooperation with the Italian Institute of Culture in Belgrade, as part of the initiative aimed at strengthening cultural dialogue between Italy and Serbia, celebrating Nikola Tesla – Universal Genius and World Science.

A short film, lasting 16 minutes, won the audience and criticism at the international level, reaching first place at Raiplay in May 2022. years and winning numerous awards at festivals around the world.

It was also presented in the VR 3D version at the National Museum of Cinematography in Turin, in cooperation with Rai Cinema.

« I am honored with pleasure that I can finally bring my Nikola in Belgrade, when we still could not imagine everything that this film would bring, » said Alesa’s director, famous for his work on the merger of technology and film expression.

With this short film, he managed to show, through strong images and intensive interpretation, human and intellectual complexity of Nikola Tesla. Parelo not only signed director and scenario, but also interpreters the figure of Tesla, reviving a poetic and deep portrait of scientists.

This film is considered one of the first examples of short film with a strong international influence, staff to reach the audience worldwide.

« Bringing this film in Belgrade is carrying a very strong symbolic but also a cultural aspect between our past and future, and the projection in Belgrade is a cultural bridge that connects two countries with deep cultural roots, » said Gordana Ristic, the author of the event.

During the evening, a version of the film in virtual reality will be presented (VR), offering audience imersey experience of strong emotional and technological influence.
