Preili side for burning a bundle detained man / day

On Saturday, officials of the Latgale Regional Police of the State Police received information that a man was burning dry grass in the Silayani parish of Preili district. In connection with this event against the burner, the administrative violation process has been launched, LETA informed the police.

The State Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) confirmed that on Saturday at 7:55 pm, the SFRS received a call to the Silayan parish of Preili district, where the bundle was burning. The burning was eliminated before the arrival of the SFRS.

Last three days in Latgale, 28 fires were extinguished. In terms of area, the biggest fires of the bundle were extinguished on Saturday in Preili parish of Preili district, where the bundle burned in one hectare, in Kalkūne parish of Augsava district, where the bundle burned 25 hectares, and in Dubna parish of Augda River, where the bundle was burning two hectares.

On Sunday on Birķenļu Street in Daugavpils last year the hall burned 20 hectares, in Vecsaliena parish of Augsdaugava district, dry grass burned in two hectares, 30 hectares of 30 hectares burned in Verema parish of Rezekne district and 3000 square meters. On Sunday there was also a fire on Rigas Street in Preili, where the bundle burned up to ten hectares, and in Daugavpils, Kieģeļu Street, where a four -hectare dry grass was burning.

The SFRS recalls that burning of the bundle is prohibited on punishment. The fires are not controlled, they endanger property, human health and life, and cause significant damage to nature.

It has already been reported that 98 fires have been extinguished in Latvia last weekend, but this year a total of 409 firm fires have been eliminated in the country.
