Pope Francis: The first appearance from the hospital
Pope Francis was discharged after making a brief, first public appearance after more than five weeks, today Sunday, greeting the crowd from his window to her Gemelli hospital Rome.
It is recalled that the Pope was hospitalized with pneumonia in both lungs.

The 88 -year -old Pontiff appeared on the balcony in a wheelchair, smiled and greeted the crowd that cheerful and waited for him.
« Thank you all, » he said to a microphone before greeting again.
The Pope seemed to make the cross point in the crowd before heading back to his room.
A few minutes later, they saw him greeting from the back seat of a car as a motorway was leaving the hospital.

He is expected to return home to Casa Santa Marta in the city of Vatican. The Pope will need two months of rest as soon as he returns to the Vatican, the team’s medical leader said on Saturday and his doctors said it would take a « long time » to do well, according to NBC News.
In the hospital since February
Pontiff has been hospitalized since February 14, while speaking to reporters outside Rome Hospital on Saturday, Pope’s doctors said his life was in danger twice, but confirmed that he remained stable for at least two weeks.
Occasionally, the Pope had needed high -flow oxygen treatment, according to the Vatican, and his changing state of health caught the attention of the world.
Since his admission to the hospital he has appeared only once, in a photo shared by the Vatican earlier in March and shows Francis praying to the hospital chapel.
Throughout his illness, the Vatican argued that Pope Francis continued to fulfill his duties, despite the fact that he remained far from publicity.
Despite the ongoing struggles for his health, there has been no indication from the Vatican that the Pope intends to resign.
