They are still the overwhelming majority and the tendency for the minority to be in, moves away from those who do not share the same habits, beliefs and experiences, are increasingly visible.
It is to this new world of young people that Pope Francis spoke. Appealing that young people are not afraid to assume their faith, to venture out of their comfort zones between the walls of the churches and that they are tolerant remaining faithful and coherent. Having more Catholic children than parents is a new reality in the western world and Pope Francis was and will be the Pope of our children – always younger than us.
