For Monday, we will have to live in Romania – and together!

I am consistent and support, with rational and objective arguments, that George Simion and Nicușor Dan are very little prepared and suitable for the huge challenges that Romania faces.

George Simion is immature, passionate, aggressive, sexist, unpredictable and chaotic. After the result of May 4, everything he said and did confirmed this impression that I knew. Public violence is always the worst approach. He is in this position just because he was – and is – supported by Călin Georgescu. The abusive and wrong decision to cancel the December elections had this effect. But it is true that George Simion is the only candidate who brings a radical change – if he will be for good or bad, nobody knows. We will only see if it will win.

Nicușor Dan arrived in the second round just because the « gang » of PSD-PNL-UDMR leaders blocked Ilie Bolojan’s candidacy. After that, the same « gang » used all its administrative, media and financial power against me. Elena Lasconi put « cherry on the cake » through the absolute naivety in the Fake Picture scandal delivered by Antonescu’s consultants. His mathematical perseverance (which is often pure stubborn) brought him into the situation of winning both the general town hall and – possibly – the Presidency of Romania. Between the two tours he had the most coherent campaign and listened to some very professional advisers (as opposed to George Simion); It was clear to me that after May 4 he received institutional, media and logistical support, including financial, which no other candidate could imagine. The problem is that, in the case of a victory, we know for sure what follows: a leadership of Romania as at the City Hall.

Although they have lost the votes of the Romanians, the PSD – PNL – UDMR leaders, to which the USR will be added, I see Nicușor Dan as the one who will keep their functions, power and personal privileges for them and their entourage. No matter how « honest » Dan is Dan, nothing will really change in the power system in Romania. They will remain at the « buttons » all those who have been in the last 10 years – controlling the government by fanariot means and ignoring the destruction of the parties they master and the country they lead, without even having the legitimacy of the democratic vote.

Both about the two candidates! I have a candidate and offered a rational and serious alternative! I have nothing to negotiate for me personally with any of the candidates. I have no expectations and I don’t want to have disappointments!

I have only one vote. But I have a responsibility and a huge debt to 1,240,000 Romanians who voted me. I consider all these people at least as rational as me, as free, as interested in serious things, as worried about what will happen in Romania, starting next week. From responsibility towards them, I decided to express publicly how I see the Sunday vote.

1. I will not vote on Sunday hatred against a candidate! Propaganda has always speculated the personal frustrations and the arrogance of the elites towards the « those » who « do not deserve to decide » the president. Romania must always be « saved », although it has always been led by exactly those who ask us to save it. We are still scared that someone is coming and takes us to Russia, China or North Korea, that if a certain candidate comes out, he takes us out of the EU and NATO – and that, in order to avoid this catastrophe, we must ignore anything else.

I deepen the public characters that appear from 5 to 5 years and want to save us! They saved us from Nastase and Geoana bringing Basescu; by Ponta, supporting Iohannis; And now he saves Romania from Simion again, supporting Nicușor Dan. Seeing them all-without exception-grouped behind Nicușor Dan, repeating the same lies from 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019, it is enough for me to decide that I will not vote Nicușor Dan just to « do not leave Simion President and take us to Russia. »

I still wait to see that Nicușor Dan can and wants to be the president and those who do not vote. And more I expect this from George Simion, to understand how much bad makes the impression that he will avenge those who are opponents now, but they must represent and defend them as President of Romania.

I learned to respect the vote of the Romanians, regardless of which candidate was given. This means to love and respect the citizens you want to represent the democratic rules without which we cannot live.

2. In 2014 I was « proud to be Romanian »; In 2025 I said that I want to put « Romania in the first place ». If that means I am a « sovereign », I accept this label! These are the values ​​in which I believe with all conviction – and which guide me when I make a political decision. I believe in democracy, in individual and economic freedom, in our belonging to Europe – political, economic and cultural. But life and political experience have taught me that a true man of state is due only to the people who have chosen or appointed; that there is no external interest to prevail over Romania’s interest; That it is not acceptable, as a state man, in no situation, to put the interest of another country or your personal interest before the public interest of the people who chose you.

3. The resumption of the relationship with the US must be the absolute priority for the future president! I am the last prime minister of Romania who participated in a European Council and the last official received at the White House. I am the only candidate who personally met Donald Trump and many of the European leaders. I am convinced that in the next 4 years, the hardest, but also the most important foreign policy relationship will be the partnership with the US. Without military security, we will have no economic security. Europe is in full transformation – and Romania has to be actively involved, but without affecting the relationship with America.

To call President Macron « dictator » or say that you arrest Prime Minister Netanyahu if he comes to Romania-or to say that we support Ukraine no matter what the US-are clear signs of political immaturity and lack of vision. The candidate who gives me the hope that he will put the relationship with America in the first place and that he will be actively involved in the EU reform is the one I will vote.

4. The economy is the big problem of Romania and of Romanians living in the country, in 2025. We are in a budgetary bankruptcy, only postponed until the elections. The Romanian business environment was suffocated by instability and unpredictability. This bankruptcy was produced by the clientelism, the lack of competence and the economic inability of the PNL – USR – PSD – UDMR governments (in the chronological order of the entry into the Executive).

If President Nicușor Dan will be elected, we have only one good news: Ilie Bolojan-possibly prime minister. Then there are only bad news. All the power in Romania (president-government-Parliament-local authorities) will be focused in the hands of a group of people who have governed so far and have bankrupt us. The consequences are predictable: tax increases, austerity for ordinary people, destruction of the Romanian business environment, the further feeding of the political client, the increase of the public debt.

If Simion President comes out, we really have no idea what his government will do in the economy – we don’t even know who the people will promote. Certainly, some PSD leaders will provide their services and votes in Parliament to keep their personal positions. Although gold has a few colleagues who come from the business environment and understand what should be done, we do not know if Simion will leave them « at the buttons »!

Maybe he will understand that one is to campaign and « political marketing » and something else to govern a country in a deep crisis. Or maybe he will play with some teammates who are just obedient – and then the bankruptcy of Romania will come faster and will last longer. It would be good to bring in front of the business environment some credible professionals, specialists to repeat what was done between 2013 – 2015 and promote « economic patriotism », which I consider the only real hope of saving Romania.

5. Do you know what really matters most for each of us? Health and education! You have noticed, I hope, that George Simion, and Nicușor Dan completely ignored these topics. So – God with mercy.

Andrei and Irina, plus the « children » from my team of Tiktok, have changed my thinking in this campaign! If I do not see any immediate solution for education and health, I will advise them for the first time in life to leave in the diaspora and live there. However, from there it is always deciding who is elected president in Romania.

6. I wish – and I will support – the candidate who guarantees free and correct choices in the future; And which guarantees that the vote of the Romanians will never be canceled, altered or fraudulent, as has happened so many times. If on May 18 we sleep with a president chosen by the people and we wake up with one chosen by the system, any collective rescue hope will disappear. And the « political clans » will continue Romania, convinced that the people will never be able to ask them!

I’m going to vote on Sunday! And until I enter the voting cabin, I will keep thinking about all the things shown above!
