Poll: Falling for ND after the Great Rallies – The PASOK difference – they want early elections


The New Democracy is declining four units, with the rise of freedom and the Greek solution, as recorded in the first poll after the grand rallies of February 28th for Tempi.

In a GPO poll, presented in the Star Central Newsletter, for the first time, the majority of citizens are in favor of early elections, while the vast majority attributes responsibility to the government for the accident and the concealment of responsibilities.

In the intention of voting, the New Democracy's lead over PASOK is limited to 8.3%.

In particular, the New Democracy is at 23.1% from 26.7% in January, while PASOK at 14.8% from 16.6%.

A large rise to 6.9% (from 3.8% in January_ Freedom sailing, while the Greek solution rises from 7.9% in January to 9.2%.

Following are the KKE (7.9%), SYRIZA (6%), Voice of Logic (4.2%), Niki (2.2%), Democracy Movement (2.1%), Day25 (1.8%) and the new left (1.7%).

First the 'no'

First in the GPO poll, the question of the most appropriate prime minister comes with … « no » with 36.7%.

And followed by Kyriakos Mitsotakis with 24.9%, Nikos Androulakis with 8.8%, Kyriakos Velopoulos with 5.7%, Zoe Konstantopoulou with 5.3%, Dimitris Koutsoubas with 4.8%, Socrates Famellos with 3.7%and 2.7%.

In favor of early elections the majority

Asked if, after developments in the tragedy of Tempi, early elections must be held, more than half of the citizens (52.5%) respond positively.

At the same time, almost 7 out of ten (67.7%) believe that the government has lost popular legitimacy.

They do not trust justice

Nearly 6 out of 10 citizens (59.8%) say they do not trust Greek justice.

Tempi: Discovery sees 71.9% – Government's hosts 85%

71.9% of citizens believe that the government is trying to conceal the Tempi case.

The overwhelming majority of respondents (85%) attributes responsibility to the government for the tragedy.

What do they say about rallies and opposition?

With their participation in the rallies, the citizens said they wanted to honor the memory of the Tempi victims by 64.1%, to seek justice by 56.1% and to send a message to the government by 47.4%, while 15.6% responded that they wanted to demand good and safe.

Finally, it is noteworthy that 82.4% of GPO polls believe that opposition parties are trying to politically exploit the Tempi case.
