Police officers falsely claimed that the vehicle was official to not pay a parking fine
The Department of Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards of the Ministry of Interior have carried out checks after a video posted on the social network Facebook on 04.04.2025. The video shows a group of citizens asking a police officer who acts with a special spider vehicle to lift the Porsche Caen vehicle with Skopje license plates, because it was parked on a cycling trail, ie on a carriageway.
According to the Ministry of Interior, police officers from the KPKKIPS carried out checks in OBPS Skopje and found that they were handled by misdemeanor for incorrect parking committed by a Porsche Caen passenger car.
After inspecting the official documentation, it was found that the police officer SN. from ODPS Skopje, on 22.03.2025 he acted on the order for performing activity no. 3626 of 21.03.2025 for illegally parked vehicles. Citizen SN reported on telephone number 192 that on ul. « Orce Nikolov », near a restaurant, was illegally parked « Porsche Caen ».
Police Officer SN, with a special vehicle « spider » and two employees of the PE for Public Parking Center of the Municipality of Centar, rushed to the above site, where the vehicle was found and a revolted group of citizens demanding that the vehicle be raised. At the scene, two people came out of the catering facility who identified themselves as police officers and said the vehicle was official. Police Officer SN He ordered them to remove the vehicle immediately and park it in an appropriate place, after which he entered the spider’s cabin in order to check if the vehicle was indeed official.
After determining that the vehicle was not official and that it had not yet been removed, the employees of PE Public Parking Center ordered them to pick up the vehicle, after which it was transferred to the depot. There, by the police officer JJ. is an integral record of a traffic offense per Art. 63 paragraph 6 of the ZBSP, as well as a misdemeanor payment order, stating that the perpetrator of the offense is SK. (76) from Skopje. The owner of the vehicle is MT. (48) from Skopje, reads the statement of the Ministry of Interior.
The two men who presented themselves as police officers and claimed that the vehicle was official, with a Ford Mondeo passenger vehicle heading to the depot. Police officers from the KLAKIPS carried out checks for the Ford Mondeo vehicle and found that the same was driven by TD police officers. and IS, deployed in the Department of Personality of the President of the Republic of Macedonia.
The Ministry of Interior added that these police officers had an official conversation, stating that they had committed a more severe violation of the work order and discipline. A proposal to establish disciplinary liability will be submitted to the KLAKKS to the Department of Disciplinary and Court procedures.
