Police looking for unknown that woman (35) of bicycle hit and raped: « He just kept beating » (Zwijndrecht)

The victim, a then 34-year-old woman who has been living in our country for years, left on 4 June around 9.45 pm from Sint-Niklaas with her electric bicycle to the ferry service across the Scheldt, between Bazel and Hemiksem. During the ride, the suspect chased her on a black electric bicycle.

The woman had noticed the suspect for the first time, just after 10 pm, in the Landmolenstraat in Temse. At that time, the young man delayed because he was rolling a cigarette while cycling. After a while he was out of sight and the woman reassured that somewhat. But in the shortening dike he suddenly hit her on the back of her head and neck and fell in the high bushes. « Suddenly I got a blow, » the woman says in the investigation program Farade. « I knew right away: he’s. He just kept beating. As soon as I came up something – because I lay down – he hit. He also said he was going to kill me. I thought, » My life is over. «  »

The suspect hid both bicycles in the scrub and raped her. Then he fled away.

Black bike

The suspect is a sporty young man. It is about 1m70 tall and has dark eyes, short dark hair with a tight hairline in front and a little longer hair at the back, thick brushing eyebrows and a pale, pale skin with scars, presumably by acne. He speaks Dutch with a Flemish accent and is a smoker.

At the time of the facts, he wore black pants, a black belt, a black sweater with hood and large logo on the chest, black skate shoes up to the ankle and a black scarf or buff. He also had a black backpack with him.

He moved with a black electric bicycle without bicycle bags.

Last year in June an investigation message was already being distributed, that is now being repeated.
