Police judge will soon rule on case on the accident of Tom Waes (Antwerp)

Tom Waes drove home on the Left Bank in the night from Friday 29 to Saturday 30 November after a night out on the Antwerp South. Just before the Kennedytunnel, he crashed with his old -timer Porsche on a bots absorber of road works that he had not noticed. Waes herself suffered serious injuries and was even in danger. A worker was slightly injured in the Botsbsorbeerder.

The findings after the accident showed that Waes did not wear his belt and that he had 2.44 promille alcohol in the blood, according to the public prosecutor the equivalent of fourteen alcohol consumptions. Waes, meanwhile on the better hand, also admitted that he had too much drunk, and publicly apologized.

Waes risks a fine of up to 2,960 euros, a driving ban of 3.5 months, taking the driving exams again and an alcohol lock in his car for a year. The case would be dealt with at 10 am.
