Police General Directorate organizes events during traffic week – Cyprus Newspaper

The “Traffic Week olan, which is organized every year by the Police General Directorate (PGM) for increasing traffic awareness on drivers and prevention of traffic accidents, will be held between 12-18 May this year.

According to the information provided by the PGM, the activities of the PGM – Traffic Directorate officials, television and radio programs by participating in television and radio programs will provide information about the traffic.

In the regions where the public is intense throughout the country, stimulating posters will be hung on traffic rules in a way that does not prevent the viewing angle of the vehicle drivers and does not constitute an obstacle to pedestrians.

Advertising panels at various points throughout the country, stimulating images about traffic during the week will be displayed.

In all districts, awareness trainings will be given about traffic for students studying in previously planned high school schools.

During traffic inspections throughout the country, the magnet reminding the traffic rules to vehicle drivers will be distributed.

GSM operators Telsim and Turkcell will be sent to all subscribers with SMSs with “Traffic Slogan” content three times a week.
