« Police cars full span against us »
Hjörný Eik Hjaltadóttir, a hard supporter of Liverpool, realized that something serious had happened when several police cars met her « full -fledged » shortly after a car was driven on the football team’s football team in central Liverpool.
The incident occurred after 6 pm local time, but then Hjörný and her parents were a short distance from the scene.
They had been involved in celebrating the team’s players who drove around the city in an open bus on the occasion of the club’s Champions League title.

« We walked along this street where it happened and set ourselves to her end to watch the bus with the Liverpool team passed.
« Some chased the bus but the choice of us was about to go back the street or another way. I was elaborate to go another street because there were so many people in the street that this happened.

She says they realized that something serious had happened because of the police cars, but they heard no shout and calls or anything like that, because fireworks and great panic were still being blasted.
« So soon a man came to us who showed us a video of this as it was happening and then he had been in the area when the car drove on the people, » says Hjörný.
