The Balkan Krew tried to keep an illegal drift meeting in Geel on Saturday evening. The police arrived en masse and could avoid that. When the company continued to Hasselt, the authorities were able to intervene quickly there to evacuate the location.

Balkan Krew is the largest drift club in Flanders. The organizers state that they do not want to be a burden to anyone and therefore always choose quiet locations. They argue for their own place to drift. Last year in August, five hundred tuned vehicles came together in Geel and in October there was a drift meeting in Weelde (Ravels).
