Pintia role, from a private building reservoir
In the settlement of Pintija in Kisela Voda, today from the reservoir of a privacy company for the production of styrofoam built inside the settlement, the chemicals used in the manufacturing process were poured out. Teams of TPPE Skopje are on the spot to isolate the incident, and inspectors from the City of Skopje have already prepared a report for the crash.
According to the City of Skopje, for this type of accident, in addition to the fine for the perpetrator of 45,000 euros, the closure of the plant, as well as an order to repair the damages caused by the incident.
The City of Skopje appeals to the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MoEPP) and the Municipality of Kisela Voda under whose jurisdiction it is to act in accordance with the competences.
– With an inspection report on the executive technical inspection of pressure equipment where it has noted that the valve has signs of leaks, the legal entity « EcoPor » has not taken measures to prevent the creation of the crash we are witnessing today. For this facility under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Kisela Voda, we appeal to the municipality to act within its competences, as well as the line ministry in order to sanction the legal entity that caused the crash – the City of Skopje states.
