Pictures of children abused in a DGASPC center
DGASPC Sibiu was self -based on the video material « Hell from the Speranța Center », published in the online environment, respectively on the Facebook socialization page of the newspaper online.
« Taking into account the situation reported in the online environment, according to the legislation in the field, immediate checks were carried out regarding the identification of the employees involved in the reported incident. The multidisciplinary team was set up that will evaluate the situation of the minor/minors on all areas: medical, social, psychological and legal.
The steps for the removal of three employees within the « Speranța » Sibiu service complex were initiated in the video material, the Sibiu Municipality Police was notified for the emergency company according to the skills and it was ordered to carry out a medical-legal examination of the minor to which the suspicion existed.
In parallel with the above mentioned measures, it was ordered to set up a team of verification of the other reported aspects, regarding the health status of the minors, their nutrition and the circumstances in which the incident reported.
We appreciate that some of the information were presented in a subjective way, which does not fully correspond to reality, which can induce the public opinion to provide social services that do not meet quality standards, producing the lack of confidence in these services provided by the institution ”, a statement of DGASPC Sibiu states.
