Photos: Sailor Day Celebrated on Grandanum
Sailor’s Day was celebrated throughout the country today.
In Reykjavik, the festival began with colorful parade at 12.30 from Harpa to the festival area in Grandagard. A variety of entertainment was available for the whole family at Grandanum.
The Icelandic Museum of Natural History in collaboration with the Environment and Energy Agency invited, among other things associated Icewater-The project, which is about promoting education on the importance of water resources. During the exhibition, the ecosystem of the beach was made accessible and people awakened to the importance of pollution-free marine and water areas. Various workshops were held where guys were allowed to mix colors with light, create wool yellows, and handy marine life.
