Photos: Division eclipse on the sun

The eclipse of the sun was seen around the country before noon today.

In Reykjavik, the eclipse began at about 10 o’clock and peaked at 11am. Most darkness was seen from the West in the south of the West Fjords.

On page Iceland at night It is stated that the eclipse will be when the moon is new and running for the sun and cast a shadow on the ground.

The eclipse have also been seen in the northeastern United States, eastern Canada, Greenland, Europe, Northwest Africa and Northwest Russia. The eclipse was greatest over Quebec in Canada, with 93% of the sun’s album covered.
