On Saturday, May 17, the Narva motorcycle club Rolling Freedom MCC celebrated the beginning of the 2025 motosason. For the club this year is anniversary – the organization was created 20 years ago. To date, it has several dozen active participants.
Rolling Freedom is MCC (Motorcycle Community / Club), as called clubs with more gentle rules than in the classic MC (Motorcycle Club). There is no such strict hierarchy in the MCC, it is much easier to enter into it, they usually have no complaints about a specific territory.
This year, Rolling Freedom celebrates its twentieth anniversary – the term for a small club is solid. The Narva bikers decided to celebrate the anniversary – the event stretched for almost the whole day of Saturday and took place in a lindenic hole at the walls of the Narva Castle.
Bikers have many fun traditions and customs. Their jackets and vests are a kind of chronicle of their life – according to badges and stripes, you can always understand what events the driver of the bike visited in certain years.
Summer – Motors time
For obvious reasons, the biker season in Estonia is short. During the summer months, the owners of motorcycles need to have a lot to have time – to spend their own holiday, slide off to the neighbors, be sure to make a long trip and visit a large festival.
One of the funny traditions is the choice of an “iron ass” – this is a guest who was forced to go to the destination for the longest.
Bikers also compete in slow driving, tug of rope and other summer types of festival sports.
This year, the holding of the Rolling Freedom festival coincided with the night of museums, and at the walls of the castle there was also an exhibition of a vintage auto-moto of equipment, which was organized by the Motonurk club.
