US President Donald Trump introduces customs duties of 10 percent of all imports to the United States. In addressing in the garden in front of the White House, he announced that he would release the US from foreign goods addiction and bring America to the « Golden Age ».

Trump showed a chart called « reciprocal customs », which featured customs duties that charged other countries to the US, as well as those that America imposed on these countries. The chart includes data on key trade partners, and shows a wide variation in customs duties that apply the countries to US goods.
These are some of the most important customs rates towards the chart. China introduced 34 percent of the customs duties, Bosnia and Herzegovina 35 percent, to the European Union 20 percent, India 26 percent, the United Kingdom 10 percent, Japan 24 percent, and 10 percent to Australia.
Serbia charges the US Customs of 74 percent, and Trump has now introduced a reciprocal customs of 37 percent to Serbia. The chart also reveals that several countries charge significantly larger customs on US products. The highest customs duties to the US are applied by the following countries: Vietnama was introduced by a 46 percent duty, 49 percent Cambodia, Sri Lanci 44 percent, Madagascar 47 percent, Mjanmar 44 percent, Laos 48 percent.
