Photo/ 39 Americans swear as Volunteers of the Peace Corps in Albania

39 Americans have taken the oath to engage as volunteers of the Peace Corps in Albania for two years of service. According to the announcement of the United States Embassy, present at the ceremony was also in charge of the US job, Nancy Vanhorn, while these devoted individuals will bring the best of American values in Albania.
« Relying on 30 years of influence, they will cooperate with local communities to strengthen the connection between the United States and Albania, » The announcement states, and the ceremony was joined by the Minister of Education, Ogerta Manastirliu and the head of the Peace Corps for Albania, Megan Wilson.
During her greeting speech, Vanhorn thanked Minister Manastirliu and the team for supporting the peace corpus volunteers and for the work they do in classes, schools and communities across Albania.
« You have generously opened not only the houses, but also your hearts to prepare these volunteers for the work that awaits them. The support of all our Albanian partners is essential to the success of the Peace Corps in Albania. And I have to admit, I am a little envious of all volunteers, »-tha vanhorn.
Peace Corps volunteers were told that as they enter an Albanian class or work with a local organization, they will further deepen and strengthen relations between the US and Albania.
