« The title of this prize sounds magnificent, maybe even a little heavenly. It is a huge event and rating for me. It has beautifully coincided that I have had to get to know the Canadian Lithuanian community, I have participated in the Canadian Lithuanian Children and Adolescent Camp, » A. According to the author, this book came from the idea of playing with detective stories. « I wrote those seven short stories for about a year. In the book, they take a little link to each other and become a single minor inappropriate – a detective story that does not resolve, or it is obvious to the reader that it is impossible to find any answer, although the short stories for the characters are not obvious. » Petronis said.

The Daussian Family Prizes are presented every two years by the Canadian Lithuanian community together with the Lithuanian Writers’ Union. This year, three bonuses were awarded a second time. This year, the jury was led by literary scientist dr. Žydronė Kolevinskienė. The two other prizes were won by writer Nijolė Marija Šerniūtė and US -based journalist Aloyzas Stankevičius together with Stase Banionyte, who translated his books from French.
