Peru has a problem with gangs. Will he impose a death penalty for them?

Lima, BRATISLAVA. Popular Peruvian singer Paul Flores was in mid -March after a concert with his teammates on their bus when they started shooting unknown men.
The musician had previously threatened a criminal gang who demanded money from him. The police therefore say he was killed by the killers.
Flores’ death stimulated the government to declare a state of emergency, which applies to the capital of Lima and the nearby port city of Callao. « In the fight against organized crime, all Peruvians must speak uniformly and overcome all our differences of any kind, » wrote Peruvian Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzén in a statement.
However, President Dina Boluarte chooses a more vigorous approach. He is seriously thinking that they could give such criminals the death penalty.

Ganges blackmail
Gang extracting is a problem in the whole of Latin America, but in Peru recently has been gaining alarming dimensions. Since the beginning of the year, they have registered more than four hundred murders in the country, according to official data.
In January, the attackers of Gaston Medina, a journalist who informed about blackmail in Peru, shot. Two people were injured in the bombing on the prosecutor’s office, which is also dealing with the problem.
