Personalities write to office Merza, apologize for insults from Direction officials
Germany is considered a strong partner.
Dear Mr. Chancellor,
We have heard your recent words about unity in the European Union carefully. We fully identify with them.
We also share your legitimate concerns about developments in the Slovak Republic, which disrupts the life interest in the effective cooperation of the legal community of sovereign states called the European Union.
We were not surprised by the extremely offensive statements mainly from the political party environment SMER-SDwhich we do not intend to repeat.
They came into public awareness in a way that raises the obligation of their decisive rejection for all decent citizens of our country. Our feelings of disagreement and partly shame are indeed strong.
Hard insults and infantile statements to your address are also defamation of the state that has been and is our true friend. We consider Germany to be a strong partner and guarantor of our common security and prosperity in the European Union. We cannot forget that it was a selfless supporter of all democratic changes in our country after a year 1989 and a generous partner in the process of our European integration.
Let us, Dear Mr. Chancellor, to express sincere regret for the statements of Smer-SD representatives, including the Prime Minister of the Government Robert Fico.
Accept, as well as the whole German nation, for these blatant words, apologies. It comes from people who are aware of the importance of solid allied ties between Slovakia and Germany. We believe that their set of political adventurers cannot endanger or disrupt the long -term.
