Pernilla Wahlgren is showing for the last time – in the Globe
Pernilla Wahlgren yawns for the fifth time in half an hour.

Last night she had a show in Visby, partyed until two o’clock at night and then went up early to take the morning flight to Stockholm. So it must be if she is to catch everything.
Soon, there will be a break from one of the occupations anyway. The tournament with the humor and music performances « short, happy and grateful », « Pernilla Wahlgren has hybris » and « Happy Ending » ends after seven years.
There will be three evenings In Stockholm at the end of May – one for each performance that Pernilla Wahlgren has played with Ola Forssmed, Hanna Hedlund, Måns Nathanaelson and Kim Sulocki.

– We have often played in arenas and we usually sell out at once. Then we thought it is just as good that we go All in here. But it is cocky and dared to drive three evenings in the Globe. We have some hybris, simply, says Pernilla Wahlgren.
The first performance « Short, happy and grateful » came as a celebration for two anniversaries: 50 years on earth and 40 years as an artist. Now it has seven years on the neck. Show number two in the order was called « Pernilla Wahlgren has hybris » and premiered in 2020.
– The title comes from the fact that it started to go so well for me, with « Wahlgren’s world » and « short, happy and grateful ». An ounce of hybris is good to have, you have to be proud and happy when things go well. But there have not been sold out shows and arenas for any of us throughout our careers. I have run Pippi Longstocking in the milk counter at ICA.
All three are played exactly as they were when they were first made, to create a time travel. In the first two, Pernilla Wahlgren is presented as a single.
– « Hybris » is about being tokingle and the others to help me find a man.
Just a little hook: Pernilla Wahlgren is no longer token single. She is not even a little single. For two years she has been married to Christian Bauer – and they met already while the show was still played the first round.
– We had to tell the audience that this is a trip back in time, to when Pernilla Wahlgren was still single.
She herself has no problem playing the scenes they were written, but just thinks it’s fun. The latest performance is very much about her relationship with Christian Bauer.
– We drive a lot about him, that he does everything for me. But we also drive about me, that I am bad and such.
The children also figure Much in the performances. If anyone can see the joke before?
– No one has to approve anything. Here we do not ask for permission, says Pernilla Wahlgren.
It is not only on stage that you can get her and her relatives close to life – Pernilla Wahlgren’s signature is intimacy and openness. She returns several times that she is « filterless » and « can talk about everything ». How does such a personal show really do in arena format?
– We will try to cozy up to it so that it will still be a stage presence, even though we are like little ants down there. So you don’t just sit and look at a big screen, says Pernilla Wahlgren.
She tells that She has never received response from someone who has been dissatisfied with the performances or thought they are boring – even though some « older ladies », as she describes them, can react to the content.
– It’s pretty filthy. Our humor is under the belt. A number is called « I want a big cock », that song sang the ensemble’s children at school for several weeks.
A large part of the show is also about reality, with the success of « Wahlgren’s world » whose eighteenth season is now being recorded.
Recently had another Celebrity family with a matriarch in focus premiere for its reality series: « Läckbergs ». Pernilla Wahlgren does not feel threatened by the deck queen Camilla Läckberg.
– I have been told that everyone who makes reality uses « Wahlgren’s world » as a template. But at the same time, my God, we do not own the concept of reality. It is free for everyone.
When the stage shows are now being put on ice for an indefinite future, one would think it calms down. But not for Pernilla Wahlgren.
This summer it is time to program « Allsång at Skansen » for the third time. The pod with Sofia Wistam will be recorded, just like every week for the past ten years. Then there are twelve corporate boards to sit in. And so she has just become a grandmother for the second time.
How do you cope?
– You can really wonder. I’m probably a little snappy.
