The light was on, the atmosphere was high, and Tivoli’s Friday Rock audience was ready to sing along to Jung’s ear hangers.
But in the midst of the warm pop tones of the concert there was room for a moment’s silence and nostalgia.
Suddenly, a well -known figure tinted on the big screen behind the band: Jens Werner, the legendary dance judge from « Wild with Dance ».
The clip, which was shown during the band’s performance June 13, was part of the official music video for the song « Two hours in a row » – a collaboration initiated in 2021.
The band’s enthusiasm for Jens Werner’s radiance and charisma led to the invitation to participate in the video, and after short reflection he accepted yes. The professional dancer went to the task of enthusiasm – and a little sweat on the forehead.
« It was hard and demanding, but also an exciting challenge. I got completely free hands. The team I worked with was top professionals. It’s cool clipped and I’m happy with the result myself, » Jens Werner said at the time.
Since the footage was completed, the video has been a regular part of Jung’s concerts – and after Werner’s death on July 9, 2024, it has gained a whole new meaning. He turned 59 and is buried at Hareskov Church, close to the home he shared with his wife Anette and their two children, Isabella and Nikolai.
The tribute is not only reserved for Tivoli’s audience. The band has chosen that Jens Werner’s dance and energy should live on the summer over.
