Greetings on the US Flag Day, published on the Pentagon’s official account, was surprised to have two elements similar to Russian flags on the graphic.

Details: On the Pentagon page on Saturday, a greetings were published on Saturday and the call to honor the « symbol of our country and the stars and the stripes that unite us. »

« Lifting the flag of our country and reflecting on the values that it embodies, let us celebrate freedom, courage and sustainability that make our country majestic, » the message reads.
In the comments to the post, users noticed that one of the elements in the image – red and white stripes on both sides of the stars – resembles the flag of Russia.
It happened, because between the stripes left the gap that appears on a blue background part of the « Russian flag ». This can only be seen if you deliberately enlarge the image.
It should be noted that in previous years such design elements on greetings on the Flag Day on the Pentagon page were not available (examples for 2023 and 2024 years).
