Party in a psychiatric ward. We know what happened that unlucky night
Let’s remind. The tragedy occurred in the III psychiatric ward. At night, several patients arranged a property during which they were to take psychoactive measures.
In two men there was a sudden cardiac arrest. One of them could not be saved, the other in a serious condition went to the hospital, but survived. The police and the prosecutor’s office immediately dealt with the matter. – Determining the cause of death and determining what substances the deceased will take, will be possible after autopsy and toxicological tests – explains Piotr Skiba from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw. Investigators are silent for now. A few days ago, two people were detained-Eryka B. and Natalia G.-J. They were people who were in the ward at that time and took part in this event.
Psychiatric party. What happened at night in the ward?
The reporter of « Fakt » learned a bit more in this matter. The meeting was not planned in advance. The property of people took place spontaneously and three men and two women took part in it. It happened on Friday to Saturday at night. The hospital claims that the staff did not know anything. Nobody expected that patients in the ward would have access to intoxicants. During the social meeting, Eryk B. together with Natalia G.-J. And the others were to take intoxicants.
A few minutes later there was a tragedy. Maciej B., one of the participants began to feel bad. Suddenly he had a circulation of circulation and fell to the floor. An ambulance was called in. Rescuers resuscitated the man for a long time, but despite their effort, he could not be saved. The 40-year-old died. A moment later in the ward, 22-year-old Eryk B. felt bad and reported it to the staff.
An ambulance was called, which took him to the hospital. There he was examined by a doctor, and because he felt better, he was written and handed over to policemen. The boy came to the command and after preliminary procedural activities, he fainted and stopped breathing. After resuscitation, the young boy managed to restore life functions. He was taken to hospital again. Weronika and one of the men also hit the signs of poisoning under medical care, but their lives are not threatened by danger.
Resolutions in the ward. Who are the participants of the event
As « Fakt » found out, 5 people, 3 men and 2 women took part in the event. The man who took intoxicants and died is the son of a politician, a candidate for the office of the President of the Republic of Poland in 1995 and 2005 and a deputy for the Sejm in 1991–1993, who was known for its very controversial views.
Unofficial information shows that the man placed his son there, because he was supposed to have problems he could not cope with during therapy in open centers. In connection with the death of one of the patients, officers detained, Eric B. and Natalia G.-J. They both were detained on remand.

– The suspects heard allegations to have significant amounts of intoxicants and grant them to third parties. They face up to 13 years imprisonment – informs Piotr Skiba from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw. As the reporter of « Fakt » Natalia Gj. The prosecutor’s office points out that this investigation will not be easy, because there are many circumstances to determine. – The case requires a very thorough analysis, which will definitely last – adds Skiba.
The hospital management explains the whole situation
The hospital director in an interview with the reporter « Fakt » did not want to comment on this matter in detail. When asked about the whole incident, he answered the questions asked to him.
– The prosecutor’s office is conducting proceedings in this case, so I cannot provide information too much. I can confirm that there was really such a situation that three patients left our ward to a multi -profile hospital in connection with the use of funds. For now, we don’t know what. The investigation in this case is being conducted by the prosecutor’s office. We learned about the whole matter on Saturday morning, so it was also a great shock for us – explains Cezary Kostrzewa, director of the facility. He claims that all patients were and are under the care of staff, and the ward is charged around the clock.
– Our patients are cared for and can always count on our staff. Our troops are equipped with cameras, so employees see what is happening – adds the director. How is it, so that night was in the ward to find unauthorized funds? The management claims that they could be brought by someone because the staff do not control visitors.
– Our employees cannot search people who visit patients. None of the people have the right to do this. This is not a closed hospital, as it is in isolation plants. This is a normal facility. Patients are accepted with specific disease entities. They are treated here, but this is not a prison. This is a hospital for adults from 18 years old, so there are people in the ward who are 18 years old and 80. These people have different friends who visit them. These people are from specific environments. Of course, if people look and behave inappropriate, it is always verified. There is a departmental nurse in every ward who checks visitors, but there was no such need here, because we haven’t had such a situation so far – adds Kostrzewa.
