The 41-year-old partner of the 39-year-old woman who was found dead on Tuesday morning in Tielt will be arrested a month longer on suspicion of murder. The Bruges council chamber decided on Tuesday morning. The couple lived with their three children.

LM called the emergency services himself, but a day later he flew in prison on suspicion of murder. According to lawyer Piet Rotsaert, it is currently unclear what exactly happened in the house. « My client stays that he is not responsible for the death of his wife, » says Rotsaert. « The cause of death remains unclear for the time being. » Whether there is effective intention is effectively involved, the question remains.
