The 41-year-old partner of the 39-year-old woman who was found dead on Tuesday morning in Tielt will be arrested a month longer on suspicion of murder. The Bruges council chamber decided on Tuesday morning. The couple lived with their three children.
LM called the emergency services himself, but a day later he flew in prison on suspicion of murder. M. appeared for the first time on Friday before the Bruges council chamber. According to lawyer Piet Rotsaert, it is currently unclear what exactly happened in the house. « My client stays that he is not responsible for the death of his wife, » says Rotsaert. « The cause of death remains unclear for the time being. » Whether there is effective intention is effectively involved, the question remains.
