Partial strike in CP with 100% adhesion with minimum services only

The adhesion to the partial strike of CP revisors and track workers, which began at 5:00 am on Monday and ended at 08:30, was 100%, having been met 25% of minimum services, according to the union.

« The partial strike began at 5:00 am and ends at 08:30 am, but the effects should be felt in the morning. Adherence to the strike is 100%, and the 25% are being fulfilled to the minimum services decreed by the Arbitral Court, » said Luís Bravo, SFRCI-Railroad Trade Review Union, Lusa.

At issue are claims for better salary conditions for all workers in the company.

« The partial strike remains until Tuesday, and will still have reflexes on Wednesday the 14th, » said Luís Bravo, stressing that adherence « shows well the discontent of workers. »

The unionist stresses that the government, in 2025, continued “its low wage policy, having applied a salary increase of 34 euros in the base salary, once again below the salary increase in the minimum wage, considered very insufficient by workers”.
