Panic at Opole. Application about the attempt to kidnap a child went to the police
The Chrząstowice commune (Opolskie Voivodeship) published a « important message » in social media. The information quickly spread on the web and scared the local residents.
Officials said that they received information from their parents, that on Tuesday, April 29, in the town of Chrząstowice was probably to try to kidnap the child.

According to parents’ accounts, the boy was followed by a van. When he started running away, two men were to get out of the car and follow him.
« The matter is very serious! We are asking everyone to be exceptional vigilance and reaction to every suspicious situation! » – officials wrote.
The police in Opole are investigating the matter
Investigators who sent a statement to the Chrząstowice commune have already referred to the case. The uniforms thanked for the vigilance and all the information they received.
Currently, policemen from Ozimek and the Municipal Police Headquarters in Opole explain the whole situation.
Investigators confirmed that they received a notification from the father of a teenager. « In the meantime, the police reached the owner and users of the vehicle, belonging to the transport company providing transport services that day. The matter is clarified. At the same time, we call for restraint in the comments and not hasty applications » – we read in a statement.
There was no attempt to kidnap?
More information was determined by, among others NTO.pl, which reported that further findings show that there was no attempt to abduct.
In an interview with the Komi portal, Agnieszka Żyłka from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Opole confirmed that the uniform had already reached the transport company, to which the bus belonged, which allegedly was to chase the teenager.
– This is a company outside the province. Yesterday (29.04), in the Chrząstowice commune, they carried out the transport of the sofa. They confused the road and sought the address to which they were to deliver the parcel – she revealed.
The website added that « there are many indications that it was the situation with a slow -moving van that fueled the boy to fear. »
