Panel on Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Banking Sector in EMU ”was organized – Cyprus Newspaper

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), 13. Within the scope of International Career Days, a panel titled Sanat Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Banking Sector ”was organized.

According to the statement made by EMU Public Relations and Media Directorate, Panel held within the scope of the 13th International Career Days organized in cooperation with the Department of Computer Engineering, the Department of Computer Engineering with the Directorate of Communication and Career Research with Alumni (MİKA). He took part in the computer engineering amphitheater.

In the panel, Akbank Data Analytical and Reporting Manager Melih Alp and Can İbrahim Şimşek, a graduate of EMU Computer Engineering Department and Data Analytical and Chief Specialist in Data Analytical and Reporting at Akbank.

In the event, which started with the sharing of short resumes of the speakers, the participants gained detailed information about the current practices of artificial intelligence in the banking sector, data analytics processes and transformation in the sector.

Speakers during the event; The place of artificial intelligence in lives, the definition of internal control in banking, its principles and objectives, the evolution of technology, artificial intelligence and automation projects, internal control vision and working conditions in the internal control area in Akbank.

Participants had the opportunity to listen to sectoral developments and practices in line with these headings.
