Palevski will testify at the trial of the murder of Vanja and Pance

The trial of the murder of Vanja and Pance continues today with the testimony of defendant Ljupco Palevski Palcho. At the Basic Criminal Court Skopje at 10 o’clock Palevski should first be heard by his defense lawyer, lawyer Jovica Strashevski, and then answered cross -laws from the prosecution and the defense of the other defendants.

At a past hearing, Vanja’s father, Aleksandar Gjorcevski, refused to answer Palevski’s questions. « I have no comment » was the answer to the questions posed by defendant Palevski to Vanja’s father. Gjorcevski only answered the first question about whether he heard that he had communication with any member of his family, replied that he did not know Palevski and asked him to answer his questions anymore.

Earlier, Vanja’s father answered questions from the prosecution related to his life, the disappearance of Vanja and the search for her. He criticized the police, saying he had not seen concrete steps to find Vanja. Answering questions from his defender, lawyer Vladimir Tufegljic, Gjorcevski said he thought he had made a great contribution to the investigation and said he had suffered torture during the interrogation.

Palevski is the last witness to testify, after other defendants, besides the prosecution’s witnesses.

Defendant Velibor Manev explained the abduction and killings of Vanja and Pance, pointing out that the main organizer was Ljupco Palevski. Bore Videvski denied his participation in the events, while Vlatko Kesishev pointed out that he did not testify to them, as he was often given the task of guarding a guard.

The indictment states that Ljupco Palevski, Bore Videvski, Velibor Manev, Vlatko Kesishov and Aleksandar Gjorcevski, together planned the abduction of 14-year-old Vanja in order to force a member of her immediate family to give money for ransom. The abduction of the damaged Pance Zezhovski in Veles, on the indictment, was intended to force him to give their own « Citroen » vehicle to use the child to abduct the child in Skopje.

Juvenile Vanja and Pance Veles were reported missing on November 27 and 24, and on December 3, 2023, dead were found near Skopje and Veles.
