Palevski, accused of killing Vanja and Pance, claims the prosecution’s evidence is a forgery

The trial of the murder of Vanja and Pance, where defendant Ljupco Palevski testifies to the Skopje Basic Criminal Court. In his statement, he again challenged the allegations against him today, arguing that the prosecution’s evidence is incomplete and manipulative.

Palevski, in response to questions from his defender, lawyer Jovica Strashevski, pointed out that witness Erol Osmani provided inaccurate information on the date of repair of his boiler, claiming that the job was completed on November 28, 2023. According to Palevski, he was not present at Butel at the time and such an intervention occurred on November 22.

-It is impossible for me to be in Butel on 28.11.2023 and to fix the boiler for an hour, although I claim, the service lasted more than two hours. It’s about ten gears, called a reducer who was blocked and had to open the whole and translate the transcripts again so that this mechanical assembly works – he said.

Palevski linked this to what he said, « base stations in the Telecom report do not exist at either 28 or 22, which means Erol Osmani’s boiler is impossible to be repaired. »

According to him, the evidence in the investigation against him is counterfeits.

-The fact -scores in this investigation are obvious, and in this case Erol Osmani, the BPPO’s mistake is that Erol Osmani first heard, he took a statement, wrote a false statement that denies 22.11.2024 as a critical day, my claim that the day is a legal service, The mistake I proved this false statement – said Palevski.

Asked if he knows Pance Zezhovski, he responded negatively. He denied any connection to the damaged Jezovski, stressing that he had never had contact with him, neither directly nor indirectly.

In this part he emphasized that according to the evidence he possesses, he said, « there is much more than a misunderstanding of concrete ».

« From the application to the SIA Veles until the response of the President of the Council of Public Prosecutors, there are ten years eager and hatred between Pance Zezhovski and Velibor Manev -said Palevski.

In his defense, Palevski pointed out others, according to him, inconsistencies in the investigation, especially about the video footage presented by the prosecution.

He claims that video surveillance footage contains inappropriate weather records and that the prosecution’s attempts to confirm the evidence through testimonies of the other defendants have failed.

-One cannot be found guilty, if, besides a statement, there is no material evidence. But the material evidence is disputed by two state servers that have emerged evidence that proves that the times of the video are inaccurate. But the desperate attempt with a statement, a defendant to confirm this video, is unsuccessful for the following reasons. The evidence of this statement is no because Velibor Manev claims the first night, then the second night, and in the video there is an evening and morning, not two nights. Vlatko Kesishev is the second resource for this forgery to become evidence, so it claims that the evening of 21.11.2023, after half an hour of meeting, after arriving we went on foot to the house of Pance Zezhovski – Palevski said.

In addition to questions from his defense lawyer, lawyer Jovica Strashevski, he spoke about the functioning of the « Right » party.

Palevski is the last witness to testify, after previously, besides the prosecution’s witnesses, the father Aleksandar Gjorcevski, as well as the other defendants, was heard. Defendant Velibor Manev explained the abduction and killings of Vanja and Pance, pointing out that the main organizer was Ljupco Palevski. Bore Videvski denied his participation in the events, while Vlatko Kesishev pointed out that he did not testify to them, because he was often given the task of guarding a guard.

The indictment states that Ljupco Palevski, Bore Videvski, Velibor Manev, Vlatko Kesishov and Aleksandar Gjorcevski, together planned the abduction of 14-year-old Vanja in order to force a member of her immediate family to give money for ransom. The abduction of the damaged Pance Zezhovski in Veles, on the indictment, was intended to force him to give their own « Citroen » vehicle to use the child to abduct the child in Skopje. Juvenile Vanja and Pance resident were reported missing on November 27 and 24, and on December 3, 2023, dead were found near Skopje and Veles.
