Innocent in the Court of Appeal
The absolute overthrow came to the second instance, after the Piraeus Mixed Circuit Court of Appeal acquitted the first -instance convicted of the 45 -year -old man, who, it was unjustly, served more than half of his sentence.
The lawyers of 45 -year -old acquitted Apostolos Lytras and George Kriemadis speak in:
« When we took over the defendant’s defense, it was already a 3.5 -year prisoner and doomed first -instance for the offense of attempted homicide in a calm mental state.
The Court of Appeal was unanimously innocent, as our claim was accepted that he was in legal defense at the time he stabbed the alleged victim.
Our client managed to disarm the alleged victim who attacked himself and his family and hit him with the knife in order to protect himself. After his long -standing detention he feels absolutely justified. «
