Over 15,000 high school students will take their first external exam from state high school exam tomorrow

Over 15,000 high school students will take the first of two external exams from this year’s state high school – native language and literature tomorrow, which is a must for all high school graduates.

According to the State Examination Center (DIC), 15,004 candidates have been reported this year. Of these, 8,816 students are from vocational high schools, 5,966 gymnasiums and 222 of art schools.

9969 Macedonian language students, 4,339 for Albanian language, 292 for Turkish language and 10 Serbian language students, have been reported for tomorrow’s first external exam.

The second external exam from the State Matura, which is elective for students, will be taken on June 11. As in previous years, most of this state high school have chosen to take English (13,457 students).

1246 students have applied for the math test, 73 will take German, 24 – French, 62 – aesthetics. There are seven candidates for the philosophy test, four for Russian language and three for Italian.

For overseeing the examination process, DIC will also hire about 2000 testators this year.

Exams will be taken in schools if they meet the conditions in accordance with the Rulebook on organizing state high school graduation, and for students of schools that do not have such conditions, they are provided with space in the faculties. DIC posted on the website the locations for passing the state high school exam in the June examination deadline.

High school graduates who will not pass the state high school graduation in June will be able to take the August session – on August 12th is the mother tongue (Macedonian, Albanian, Turkish, Serbian) and literature, and on August 14, the election,
