Output polls in Albania’s parliamentary elections: Eddie Rama’s triumph
– Exit polls from today’s parliamentary elections in Albania speak of the electoral triumph of the current Prime Minister and Socialist Party leader Edi Rama.

This provides the party 79 seats in parliament with 140 lawmakers.
In second place, according to exit polls, is the coalition led by the main opposition party – the Democratic Party (DP) of Albania, former Prime Minister and President Sali Berisha – the Alliance for Magnificent Albania. It is projected that the coalition won 38 percent of the vote, which brings it 54 seats.
Albania’s Social Democratic Party (SDP), led by Tom Doshi, won 2.2 percent, providing it with three seats.
Former DP member Agron Shehai’s « Opportunity » party won 3.6 percent, but there will be only two lawmakers because of the concentration of its votes mainly in Tirana and their fragmentation in other regions.
Arland’s « Together » movement has barely passed the election threshold and will be given a term, but Fori himself will not enter parliament.
Andry Hassa’s Euro -Atlantic coalition and former DP leader Lulzim Basha are expected to win 1.4 percent of the vote, with Basha becoming an MP.
The Albania Initiative Coalition (IAS) of Adriatic Shapaj and Endrit Shabani won 1.8 percent at national level, but there will be no lawmakers in parliament.
According to the new election formula, each party participates in the election with 186 candidates for MPs, divided into closed lists (subordinate to the party) with 46 candidates and open lists (where they are voted on with 140 candidates.
CIK President Ilirjan Elibashi told a news conference that the election process had passed in accordance with all regulations.
-The present election process has passed in accordance with all regulations. Several minor incidents have been registered, for which appropriate measures will be taken. Citizens voted dignified, and I ask the parties with calm and patience to wait for the results – said Elbowish.
He added that the initial results of several municipalities where there were electronic voting would be announced during the day. Total initial, unofficial, results, he added, will be published according to legal provisions.
