The Aisčiai-Lsmu surprise

Surprisingly captured in the playoffs of the Lithuanian Women’s Basketball League (Smart Way Mlkl).

The Aisčiai-Lsmu basketball players coached by Andrius Vaicekauskas defeated Šiauliai-Vilmers 80:68.

Šiauliai finished the regular season with fourth place (6 wins, 9 defeats), Kaunas was fifth (3-12). In addition, the Šiauliai-Vilmers team has been overcome three times by Aistes-Lsmu (69:59, 68:62 and 90:71).

This time Gedvilė Savostaitė led the Aistes-Lsmu victory: she scored 25 points, rebounded ten times, made three assists and scored 28 utility points.

Up to two victories will be competed in the quarter -finals.
