« Faculty of Health Sciences Students » Congress completed with intense participation

The Student Congress titled “Faculty of Health Sciences Students” organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Cyprus Health and Social Sciences (KSTÜ) Faculty of Health Sciences and held for the third time this year was successfully completed in Güzelyurt on 9 May 2025.

The event, which was organized at the KSTÜ Ömer Gültekin Conference Hall, enabled students to share their scientific studies in the field of health sciences. Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences. Dr. Meryem Güvenir’s congress was met with intense participation and interest.

In the morning sessions of the congress, « Can we surround the wounds of our world? » Under the title, the future issues such as aviation and space physiotherapy, space nursing and planet nutrition were discussed. The presentations of the expert speakers attracted great attention.

« Is every popular thing true? » In the debate session titled, alternative and complementary health practices such as intermittent fasting, lords, therapeutic massage were discussed from an academic perspective.

In the afternoon sessions, 30 different student declarations were presented orally. In addition, in the special session titled “Health in Health: Healthy Social Media Use ,, the effects of digital communication on health were evaluated.

In the closing session, Nutrition and Dietetics Student and journalist Yusuf Bahadır Aydın moderated by Duayen Journalists Hasan Hastür and Akay Cemal met with young people. The guests who conveyed their experiences gave important messages to students on journalism and social responsibility.
